About Tender Hearts Senior Care

Rick and Debra Judy are originally from the San Bernardino area of California and moved to Prescott in December of 2006.

Rick has been a businessman all of his life. He started a construction company in his twenties and from there moved on to real estate and property management. For over 18 years, Rick owned and operated Inland Cities Management, Inc., but eventually discovered that he was “burnt out” on a business that just made money—he wanted to start a business that made a difference in people’s lives.

Debra has been involved in the medical profession all of her life. In high school, she was a Nurse’s Aide in a nursing home where she cared for the elderly. After getting married and taking some time off to raise her three children, Debra got back into the work force at St. Bernardine’s Medical Center, where she assisted doctors with emergency phone calls. In order to further her education, Debra went back to school and became a Registered Nurse. From there she transferred to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center.

By the time they met, Rick had sold his business and done some traveling, and Debra was balancing two jobs. Rick and Debra married in 2005 and started making plans to change their lives.

Rick and Debra decided to create a business using Rick’s business acumen and Debra’s healthcare expertise and experience in caring for the elderly. Their company was built on the mission of placing mature, caring professionals in the homes of seniors, and providing them with the non-medical, in-home care that would allow them to stay independent. Thus, Tender Hearts Senior Care was born.

Rick and Debra love their new life and the business they have created. They feel that they are making a difference in the lives of seniors and fulfilling God’s plan for them.

Tender Hearts Senior Care is a Christian organization and believes this is the Lord’s business:

Joshua 24:15, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
